Congratulations to Mark Scharf!

2024 White Pine Award Winner

Mark Scharf and his wife Joanne live on the 9th Line of Oro Medonte. Prior to that, they lived in Barrie where Mark had a law practice specializing in family law. He was also active in the community as Chair of RVH and Vice Chair of the Barrie Police Services Board.

Both Mark and Joanne have been long time active members of the Huronia Chapter of the OWA. Mark was a director and worked for many years with Bruce Keeling, Chris Ellsmere and Cam Douglas to manage the Jack O'Hara Scholarship awards for students enrolled in a college or university Forestry program.
